Size

I love the size of the device! It’s the size of a pen and does not weigh anything. It can easily be carried in your purse or pocket. I store it on my bathroom counter in my lipstick holder. It requires zero storage space.

Easy to Use

As someone that is busy, I can’t afford to spend a lot of time on routines. Neutrogena’s Light Therapy Spot Treatment is as easy to use as pushing a button, that’s it. One push of a button activates the light and the device does the rest of the work. There’s no mess or clean up. A quick wipe of the tip with rubbing alcohol and it’s ready to use again.

The device is to be used for 2 minutes, 3 times a day.  The timer on the device alerts you with a beep when the two minutes is complete. You could very easily brush your teeth while treating a blemish.

Pain-Free Treatment

The treatment is painless. There is no burning, stinging, nor is there any discomfort. In some cases, I have felt some warmth from time to time while using the device but nothing bothersome.

Efficiency

Something that is painless and activates with a push of button can’t possibly be effective, right? Wrong! Now let me start by saying that it won’t be very effective on acne scars. That being said if you have that dreaded blemish pop up at a crucial moment, this device will work beautifully. I had one pop up and I used Neutrogena’s Light Therapy Spot Treatment device and the blemish was gone by the next day. WOW! I was surprisingly pleased with the accurate results. It’s key to catch the blemish early!

Skin Reaction

A common question would be, how does your skin react to the treatment? I have sensitive skin so I’m very cautious of what I apply to my skin. I had zero reaction after using the light therapy for several weeks. My skin looks like it always does without blemishes. There is no redness, irritation, flaking, peeling or residue from using Neutrogena’s Light Therapy Spot Treatment as directed.

Price Tag

All of the perks of the Neutrogena Light Therapy Spot Treatment means the price tag must be pricey, right? Wrong! It can be purchased at Target for under $20.

The light & angled tip.

I love my Neutrogena’s Light Therapy Spot Treatment because it’s created for spot treatment. It’s perfectly shaped to accurately treat individual breakouts. The angled head fits comfortably against my face. The angle helps the light to directly treat the blemish. It effectively speeds up the healing process eliminating long breakouts. It’s entirely painless and nonirritating to my skin. It dramatically cuts down the length of my breakouts. I am amazed how well the light therapy has helped my skin. Plus it’s very reasonably priced.
