What to Expect When Using the Plant Guru: Citrus Blast Essential Oil

The strong, refreshing scent of citrus fills the air when I put this oil into my oil diffuser. It smells just like a freshly picked orange. It awakens my senses just as if I was walking through an orange field. There is no chemical smell at all, it literally smells like oranges. It’s quite impressive how the oil not only smells just like oranges but it has a pleasant lingering scent as well. I love dropping about 1-2 drops into my diffuser in the morning and then my house will smell like oranges for the rest of the afternoon. When I really want the house to have a clean fresh scent for a longer period of time I’ll use 3-4 drops in my diffuser and the scent lasts longer.

Note: I received this essential oil for free in exchange for an unbiased review.

Ingredients

Even though there is a combination of orange, lemon, tangerine, mandarin, vanilla, clementine and bergamot, the dominating scent I smell the most is the orange. I have noticed that when I haven’t been able to open my windows due to the heat and the air seems a little stale. I put a couple of drops of this citrus oil into the diffuser and before long my whole house is smelling fresh and clean.

I love this particular essential oil because it’s a family favorite. The oil arrives in a brown bottle that helps to preserve the oil inside it. There is a small plastic dropper that is inside the bottleneck that helps to regulate the amount of oil that is dispersed from the bottle. It consistently disperses the oil one drop at a time. I was surprised at how well the oil is regulated so that a large amount doesn’t dump out of the bottle. I would hate to waste the oil since I love it so much.

The essential oil is sold on Amazon for under $9.00.
