Take a Look at a Gadget That Makes Hand-washing for Children a Lot Easier

How many times have your little ones tried to wash their hands at the sink but just can’t seem to reach so you pick them up so that they can reach the water? What about trying to turn the water on, pick up your child and put soap on their hands all at the same time? Does that sound like an everyday occurrence? This nifty device solves that problem.

Note: I received the faucet extender at a discount in exchange for an unbiased review.

I love the faucet extender and it is perfect for the kiddos. I admit I was skeptical about how this would attach to the faucet and once attached would it even work for the kids. I was shocked how easy it was to attach to the faucet. In a matter of seconds the extender is installed and ready to use. No tools needed, just slide it onto the faucet where it fits snuggly. Once attached to the faucet it would not be easy for a kid to remove it without an adult helping them.

I love that water does come out in a regular flow just in an extended manner. The curve in the extender really helps to control where the water is dispersed. The water does not come flying out at the kids but it flows in a downward yet angled motion that helps to reach little fingers.

What is cool about the design is that smaller children can feel independent when washing their hands. The great part is that parents still control the knobs since smaller children can’t reach the knobs to turn the water on and create a mess. The days of having to hold them up to the faucet to wash their hands are over. It’s cleverly designed because it extends the flow of water but in a controlled fashion (no accidental spraying by the extender). Kids can now wash their hands and even play in the water but only when an adult turns the water on for them.

The extender has children friendly colors so that the kiddos want to use it. I did not even know such a thing existed until I saw this and am so glad that I did. Once you try this handy gadget you’ll wonder how you ever got by without it. It’s really perfect for younger children.

The durable plastic extender attaches to most faucets. I tested it on all my traditional bathroom faucets and did not have any problems attaching it or removing it. Since it can easily be removed by an adult, it makes the extender ideal to move to any bathroom that a child would be using. The portability of this product makes it most useful whether at home or away.
