I was excited to try this nail polish remover by Pure Body Naturals because it’s all-natural and made in the USA. I wanted so much to like it!
My doubts quickly set in and my concerns grew when I followed the directions on the bottle. I followed the instructions exactly how they were written on the bottle but that led to me feeling frustrated and thinking that the product did not work.On my first attempt, I really thought the product didn’t work at all. The polish was not coming off my nails and I was putting some real effort into trying to get it off. It appeared that the product was only good in theory. I found the easiest and best way to remove my polish was to soak a cotton ball then use it to rub off the polish. When using this method to remove the polish, it was the least time consuming and most efficient way.
I loved that it didn’t have a strong smell like the typical polish remover and that it moisturized my nails and cuticles. That is a big advantage! It’s literally allowing me to do two tasks at once, such as remove the polish and providing oil to my nails and cuticles. My nails felt healthier after using this product.
It’s very beneficial to me that this product is all natural and doesn’t have any acetone or harmful ingredients. It’s comforting that this is also non-flammable unlike other nail polish removers, it’s an unique feature that stands out amongst the rest.
The polish remover comes very securely packaged. I was very impressed with how the dropper comes tightly bubble wrapped along side the bottle, both neatly packaged in a small box. If that wasn’t enough there was a tight rubber band around the package to assure that the box doesn’t open up and risk breaking the bottle or dropper during shipping. The packaging was very professional and well-thought out.
Overall, if you’re looking for an all natural product then this product is great but if you’re like me and don’t mind using traditional polish remover because it’s more efficient and less time consuming, then I would pass on the product. Plus, traditional polish remover (approximately $1) is also more affordable than this all natural one ($12).
